#4 Happy People Develop Strategies for Coping

How you respond to the ‘craptastic’ moments is what shapes your character.  Essentially, “you are who you are in the tough times” (said by me often!). One of the first steps in developing coping strategies is developing Self Compassion.  First, you need to notice what you are doing well and build on those skills. Ask yourself what you need to know today (and what you already know), about yourself, to be able to make it through.
