#6 Practice Acts of Kindness

It has been found that performing an act of kindness increases the amount of serotonin in your brain and body. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter (brain communication messenger) that tends to make us feel happier. What is really cool is that the more we practice doing nice things for other people, the better we get at it. When we practice kindness, we’re training our brains to get better at kindness. So it is as easy as that! Get out there and so something nice for someone else and enjoy a feeling similar to a “runner’s high.”
